changes to Mouse Velocity and Acceleration settings from within an Application. Changes are
saved when you leave the Application.
After exiting your Application, the values will revert to your Preference Manager settings, providing your "Preferences" file is on the same disk, or as soon as a disk is opened with your "Preferences" on it.
MOUSER is a
@40-column-mode-only
program.
Open MOUSER from within your Application. Increase or decrease values by clicking on the appropriate "
" or "
" boxes. Holding your Mouse button down will rapidly increase or decrease. Values will increase or decrease by
, between
@126.
Unlike Preferences Manager, you cannot completely disable your mouse by entering all "0" settings.
To change the settings while within MOUSER, click on the
@change box
in the upper-left corner, or press
. This will enable you to test your settings before exiting.
When your Mouse settings are where you want them, click on the
@close
in the upper-right corner, or press
. The new values will be entered and MOUSER will exit and return you to your Application.
@PLEASE NOTE:
If you use MOUSER
@without
a "Preferences" file on the same drive, your new settings will stay in effect until a disk is opened with "Preferences" on it.
If you open MOUSER
Pfrom the deskTop
while "Preferences" is on the drive, the MOUSER changes will
take effect, as the "Preferences" file's settings will over-ride MOUSER's settings after exiting.
When used with
@geoPaint
, subsequent calls to MOUSER will reset the Velocity and Acceleration settings to your default "Preference" settings, and you must set MOUSER'S again.
Since I cannot possibly test MOUSER with every DA-supportable Application, I would be curious to know of any other discrepancies.
